30.novembrī izstādes Tech Industry ietvaros notika konference par nozares attīstību un digitalizāciju Baltijas jūras reģionā. Pasākumu organizēja MASOC un Mašīnbūves Kompetences centrs, LIKTA ar projekta DIGINNO atbalstu, Rīgas Dome un Ekonomikas ministrija.
Konferencē tendences un izaicinājumus nozarē prezentēja pārstāvji no nozares organizācijām MASOC (Latvija), LINPRA (Lietuva), EMLIIT (Igaunija), DIMECC (Somija) un Infopark (Baltkrievija). SIA Peruza pārstāvis prezentēja MASOC Kompetences centra ietvaros veikto izpēti par datorredzes integrāciju robotizētas zivju pārstrādes līnijas izveidē, kā arī tālākos uzņēmuma plānus pētniecības un attīstības jomā. Tāpat, attiecīgo jomu eksperti prezentēja tendences konkrētās tehnoloģiju jomās, kuras jau tuvākajā nākotnē arvien vairāk ietekmēs un veicinās mašīnbūves nozares attīstību – 5G, robotizācija, tehniskā redze, mākslīgais intelekts, kā arī jaunākās tendences resursu un uzņēmuma aktīvu pārvaldībā.
Konferenci apmeklēja ap 90 dažādu nozaru interesenti. Galvenā atziņa – digitalizācija un IT risinājumu ieviešana ir nozīmīgs faktors, kas noteiks mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes nozares tālāko attīstību.
