In December 17th, 2015 the opening ceremony took place for modernised production facility. Over the last three years 14 million EUR were invested in the company's wagon depot modernization projects.
As the result of modernization the Company plans to expand its range of services for repairs and upgrades of railway wagons, to increase production and exports. This includes the creation of 50 new jobs. Investments from both – EU and banks - were used.
In the scope of the Modernization Project new production facilities has been built and more than 20 new devices and technological lines has been installed including modern painting chamber, abrasion and washing lines, wheel machining equipment, testing equipment, etc. New tank washing line is installed that will extend the company's range of services.
Due to modernization the "L-Express" has emerged as one of the most modern companies in area of wagons maintenance and modernization in the Baltic countries.
