In December 3rd, 2015, at the ceremony the laureates of the “Export and Innovation Award 2015”, organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and the Ministry of Economy, were announced.
Among the 2015 Contest laureates and finalists are two MASOC members - "D Dupleks" Ltd. and "Preco" Ltd.
"D Dupleks" Ltd. The Company received the 1st prize award "Best Exporter" in the group of small commercial companies. An expansive steel ammunition is the most prominent part of the company's products. Among military law enforcement professionals “D Dupleks” is well-known as a supplier of high-quality metal gun parts and accessories, as well as manufacturer of rubber and plastic ammunition for training and tactical operations.
"PRECO" Ltd received the honour "Best Exporter" in the group of small commercial companies. The Company is engaged in production of equipment for grain treatment, grain conveyors, grain dryers, metal constructions as well as metalworking services.
The Competition “Export and Innovation Award” took place for the eleventh year in a row, and its purpose is to promote the competitiveness of Latvian entrepreneurs in Latvia and in foreign markets, to promote the increase of export volume and quality, creation of products with high added value, as well as promoting innovation, by evaluating businesses results and appreciating the most successful merchants and their products.
This year in the first round 105 applications in 4 categories were submitted for the Competition, of which 32 companies were nominated for the finals.
