For the first time, companies from Latvia, members of MASOC - producers of various wood processing equipment have formed a cluster, introducing the visitors with technologies and machinery from Latvia in a joint stand, located in Hall 25, stand D05.
Participation in the exhibition is organized by our Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking industries of Latvia (MASOC), a network of more than 150 companies specialised in various segments of mechanical engineering. Equipment, tools and technologies for forest-based industries is one of the areas where many member companies develop their products and offer solutions.
Innovations and technologies that will be presented, are safe, reliable and naturally represents Latvian traditions and knowledge in wood processing, obtained during many years. Together the participating companies can offer the whole technology cycle for sawmills, starting from timber sawing, followed by drying and processing, ending with innovative solutions for utilizing all wooden bypass products.
Inspired by the nature, we have developed our forestry as a sustainable industry, carefully using our wooden resources as a platform for developing and inventing of new, modern and nature friendly processing technologies, that we proudly introduce to LIGNA 2019!

INOS
In Ligna 2019 Inos will introduce their own unique technology and factory equipment for producing charcoal briquettes with higher calorific value, longer burning time and higher heat of combustion. The briquetted charcoal, produced with INOS technology, will be more energy efficient and environment friendly if compare with similar products in the market and can be used not only for food processing and heating, but even for industrial purposes. For sawmill operators this means yet another way to add value to the by-products and expand the range of their products.
